Time for change: Moroka Swallows and Steve Komphela part ways after seven months

In a surprising turn of events, Moroka Swallows has announced the departure of head coach Steve Komphela in what has been described as a mutual separation.

The decision arrived at after several discussions between the Soweto giants and the 56-year-old coach, signifies a notable change for both parties involved.

"Moroka Swallows and Coach Steve have agreed to a mutual separation. While such separations often come with tensions and disagreements, the club emphasised that there remains mutual respect between both parties.

"The club wishes coach Steve all the best in his future endeavours, and we are grateful for the contributions he has made to the club."
