Thurles meeting gets the green light
Saturday's meeting at Thurles will go ahead as planned, following an early morning inspection.
With less rain falling overnight than was originally feared, the track was found to be suitable for racing.
A statement from the IHRB confirmed the news.
It read: "Following 1mm of rain overnight, Thurles is fit for racing and the fixture scheduled for today goes ahead.
"The ground is heavy and the first on a seven race card is due off at 1.55pm. The forecast is for a possibility of approximately 5mm of rain throughout today."
