Thruxton BSB: Linfoot switches to Superstock

Dan Linfoot will make a return to action at this weekend’s Bennetts British Superbike round at Thruxton when he lines up on the Pirelli National Superstock grid.

Linfoot left the iForce BMW team in the middle of the Brands Hatch weekend but is now riding alongside Brent Harran in the Optimum Bikes Honda squad for the remainder of 2022.

“I’m really pleased to finish the season aboard the Optimum Bikes Honda Superstock bike, after an un-enjoyable start to the season in Superbike class,” said Linfoot.

“I’m feeling refreshed at the opportunity to get back to enjoying racing. After a brief flirt with Superstock at the end of 2020, it left me wanting more, and this opportunity fits really well as I will be working with crew who I raced with back then.

“Not only that, but the team owner and team-mate are my business partners so it’s kept really nicely in-house. Massive thanks to my sponsors, and Ian from Optimum Bikes and all their team partners for making the extra effort to get a secnd bike on the grid.”
