A return to the top continental competition could be huge for the future of the Spaniard and his young side, due to the increase in revenue for transfers as well as the ability to attract high-profile players. One priority this summer in regards to signings will be in the striker department.

With duo Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah set to leave as free agents this summer, Arteta has already opened up on the need for a new striker. “You can play good football, but you need enough goal threat in the team. A number of players have been linked with the Gunners, from Dominic Calvert-Lewin to Alexander Isak. However, the latest two names to join the frame are Manchester City pair Gabriel Jesus and Raheem Sterling.
