Thomas Tuchel sent four-word warning amid Todd Boehly takeover completion
Thomas Tuchel has been sent a warning ahead of the 2022/23 campaign following Todd Boehly's £4.25billion takeover of Chelsea.
The Blues face an important transfer window ahead of next season having already lost Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen, with Romelu Lukaku's future in doubt as well. Tuchel dealt with a tricky final few months of the season on and off the pitch and now is preparing to rebuild his squad before next season.
Chelsea struggled to replicate the form they showed in the first half of the season towards the back end of the 2021/22 campaign, but finished the season winning the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup. Jules Kounde, Ousmane Dembele and Milan Skriniar have all been linked with moves to Stamford Bridge this summer but Tuchel has been warned that if he gets similar results next season as he did last year, he may find himself out of a job.
