Thomas Tuchel announced his evening has been "ruined" after learning of the latest sanctions facing Chelsea.
The German manager masterminded a 2-1 win over Lille on Wednesday night, with the Blues beating the Ligue 1 side 4-1 on aggregate to progress to the quarter-finals of this season's Champions League.
UEFA has banned Chelsea from selling tickets for the Champions League quarter-final - their opponents are yet to be drawn - as part of the sanctions the club has been hit with on behalf of owner Roman Abramovich.
Tuchel has done his best to avoid questions on the topic of Abramovich in recent weeks but was told Chelsea supporters will not be able to purchase tickets for their upcoming European clash on Wednesday night, shortly after the win over Lille. And it's safe to say the German was not happy with the news as he announced: "Thanks for ruining my evening."
Tuchel was happy with the performance from his Chelsea side who came from behind in France to win both ties. He told the press: "Brilliant, brilliant, and so nice that so many fans are here to support the team. We are again in the quarter-finals, it is a big step, we showed resilience and mentality.
