This Morning chaos as show suffers awkward blunder and ITV star gets cut off

This Morning chiefs had no choice but to rudely cut off John Torode's cooking segment which was being screened from outside the studios on Thursday, July 11.

ITV producers were plunged into chaos after it became apparent that a technical issue had occurred. Hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard were presenting from the studio and were trying to ask the TV chef a question about the food they were eating.

It soon became apparent that John could not hear them. The MasterChef judge had been filming from afar as he took to the scenic shores of Montenegro to dish up a super fresh mussel and seafood dish with the two daytime presenters having a taste back in the studio.

However, Ben had a question for John about the dish but it was evident he could not hear them. The Tipping Point host said: "John, can we just ask a quick question."

John carried on talking and cooking as Ben raised his voice and once again asked: "John, don't interrupt a man when he is busy. John can you hear us?" to which the TV cook failed to acknowledge that the former GMB star had even been talking and the segment was dropped.

The television chef carried on chatting away to himself before he was cut off by producers. Returning to the studio, Cat and Ben carried on chowing down on their food and wine and moving on with the show.

The technical issue isn't the first problem the show has faced this week, with Josie suffering a red-faced blunder while filming it Dortmund in Germany, for yesterday's nail-biting semi-final - England vs Netherlands.
