In the latest in a series of bizarre MMA fights by Russian promotion Epic Fighting Championship, a 32-stone male heavyweight failed to knock out an 8-stone female fighter.
The male fighter, Grigory Chistyakov, is no stranger to a mismatch as he made headlines in 2020 for being stopped by female flyweight Darina Mazdyuk.
But this time around things went his way after he somehow went three rounds without being able to stop strawweight fighter Aleksandra Stepakova.
As the referee got the fight underway, Chistyakov rushed towards his opponent and landed two hard right hands with Stepakova quickly retreating to find her feet.
Chistyakov then used his 24-stone advantage to press Stepakova against the cage and land punches on the inside before the referee separated the pair.
Stepakova tried to attack her opponent with leg kicks and stay out of the way of his darting charges towards her for the rest of the first round.
The 32-stone Chistyakov was visibly exhausted after two minutes, but pounded his chest as he again pushed and held Stepakova against the cage with ease.
As if the fight seemed it couldn't get any stranger, a spectator then ran into the cage in the second round and kicked Chistyakov in the chest, with the referee brushing the altercation aside.
