Thierry Henry vs Jamie Carragher: Arsenal legend analyses wonder goal vs Liverpool

Thierry Henry is arguably the greatest player the Premier League has ever seen.

The Frenchman spent eight seasons at Arsenal and took the league by storm with 174 goals in 254 Premier League matches.

It was during the 2003/04 campaign that Henry was almost unstoppable.

Arsenal went the entire season unbeaten as they claimed the league title. Henry finished the campaign with 30 goals in 37 matches.

The away side took 1-0 and 2-1 leads before half time, with Henry equalising in the first half.

But the second half was dominated by the Gunners – and Henry.

Robert Pires equalised before Henry scored one of the best goals of his career.

He picked up the ball 35 yards out and beat several Liverpool players – including Didi Hamman and Jamie Carragher before finishing.

Henry explained how he beat Hamann before dummying to shoot, fooling Carragher who stumbled.

All the while in the studio, Carragher stood in the background in silence while Micah Richards was clearly trying not to laugh as Henry took them through the goal.

It made for brilliant TV and fans clearly enjoyed the element of Carragher standing there helpless as he had flashbacks of
