"They might..." - Journalist suggests what Tuchel must do to sign 344-goal striker at Chelsea

Chelsea will have to sell one of their current forwards this summer if they want to sign Robert Lewandowski, says Daily Star journalist Paul Brown.

The west London club are thought to be interested in the Bayern Munich No.9, but Brown thinks they are going to find it extremely difficult to bring him in because of the players they already have on their books.

Lewandowski has made it clear that he wants to leave the Allianz Arena in the upcoming transfer window.

“One thing is certain today, my story with Bayern is over,” the 33-year-old recently said (via BBC Sport) while on international duty with the Poland national team. “I realise a transfer will be the best solution for both sides.”

Barcelona are Lewandowski’s preferred destination, though that does not look to have deterred Chelsea.

According to The Guardian, Chelsea have Bayern’s talisman on their radar, with Thomas Tuchel said to be a huge admirer.

Brown thinks one of Chelsea’s current forwards, like Romelu Lukaku, will have to leave Stamford Bridge if the Blues are to have any chance of signing Lewandowski.

Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, the Daily Star journalist said: “They do suddenly have quite a lot of forwards Chelsea. I think someone would have to leave to make room for a huge player like that, and I don’t think there are going to be many bidders for Lukaku this summer, so they might be stuck with what they have.”

Because, simply put, Chelsea do not score enough goals, something Tuchel has been very vocal about.
