'They decide what they do' - Pep Guardiola thrown by Real Madrid decision before Man City clash
Pep Guardiola says it's a 'pity' that Manchester City will play under a roof when they take on Real Madrid on Tuesday at the Bernabeu.
Real have the option to close their newly-installed roof for games after renovating their historic home, and asked UEFA for permission to do so for the quarter-final home leg. City were powerless to have any say in the decision, with UEFA agreeing to the request.
Home fans were asked to all wear white for the game, with both measures believed to be an attempt to create a cauldron atmosphere that would help Real make the most of their home advantage. Real were blown away in last season's semi-final second leg at the Etihad, with players and Spanish media describing the Blues' atmosphere in glowing terms as City won 4-0.

Reacting to the news that Real have taken measures to maximise their atmosphere by closing the roof, Guardiola said pre-match: "I don't know, first time in my life I'm going to play that way. It's the first time in my life I experience it so I cannot advise something to the players.
"It's a pity, it's a lovely day in Madrid. Maybe the sun is not there anymore. It's an away game and they decide what they will do."
