The life of all Ukrainians, and in particular the residents of the practically destroyed city of Mariupol, was divided into «before» and «after» the beginning of full-scale Russian aggression. This was stated by the Ambassador of Ukraine to Israel Yevhen Korniychuk in an address on the occasion of the Independence Day of Ukraine.

«Dear friends! We gathered today to watch the documentary film «Mariupol», which shows the horrors and tragedy of the Ukrainian people after the invasion of the Russian invasion and which continues to this day. The life of the people of this city was divided into «before» and «after» the start of the war. The life of all Ukrainians was divided into «before» and «after». Today we celebrate the Independence Day of Ukraine and it is very symbolic that we are watching this film today», - he said.

The ambassador also thanked all the people who support Ukraine in its struggle for independence.
