We now have a number of live attractions based on hit TV shows where you can take family and friends along to experience them in real life.

You might not get your moment of fame at these venues - just to be clear there are no TV cameras filming at these attractions - but you do get to share your moment of glory with your pals.

And Manchester also boasts one of the most famous TV soap sets in the world here in Coronation Street.

The good news is that the Corrie tour experience is just about to reopen, giving fans the chance to live out their own drama on the cobbles and find out all the behind-the-scenes gossip on the hit ITV show.

Here we take a look at some of the TV show-inspired attractions you can now book across Greater Manchester.

The Cube was a huge hit for ITV, hosted by Philip Schofield, running for 13 series.

Now you can have a go at the seemingly-simple challenges under time pressure inside the iconic perspex boxes in a huge new site inside the Manchester Arndale Centre.

The Cube Live attraction is part of the new Urban Playground site, which also boasts a cocktail bar, burger restaurant The Butcher and a crazy golf course.

Fans of the ITV show will know that only one man has ever beaten The Cube, and that was the supreme athlete Sir Mo Farah. But don't let that put you off giving it a good go....
