The top 10 Premier League players with the best win ratios after 100 games - Drogba fourth

Aymeric Laporte has become the latest player to reach 100 games in the Premier League following Manchester City‘s routine 2-0 win over Burnley.

Laporte, 27, played a starring role as Pep Guardiola‘s side ran out 2-0 winners at Turf Moor, lifting them back above Liverpool at the top of the table in the process.

The Burnley victory was Laporte’s 82nd win as a City player – from a total of 100 top flight appearances – meaning he has won a staggering 82 per cent of his games during his time at the Etihad.

This means the Spain centre-back also now has the highest win percentage of ANY player in the competition’s history as a result.

City’s official Instagram account shared a graphic after the game reminding their followers of his incredible achievement, with Laporte following up with a post of his own on social media.

“Now focus on what’s next.”

Laporte’s win percentage is also higher than his teammate Ederson Santana de Moraes‘ (79 per cent), Trent Alexander-Arnold‘s (77 per cent), as well as former Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic and another of his teammates in Gabriel Jesus (77 per cent).

Chelsea duo Didier Drogba and Paulo Ferreira are in fourth and fifth, both enjoying over 70 victories each to register a 76 and 75 per cent win rate.

Fellow former Blues Petr Cech, Claude Makelele and Ricardo Carvalho all make up the rest of the top ten, with win rates of 74 per cent, 74 per cent and 73 per cent respectively.
