The pretty seaside town near Manchester that Taylor Swift fans are obsessed with

It’s undeniable that Taylor Swift’s influence stretches far and wide, something we saw this summer when her Era’s Tour arrived in Europe. Now fans of the popstar are descending upon a pretty seaside town in Anglesey, where a shop and café have fully embraced all things Taylor Swift.

Nestled in the charming town of Beaumaris, The Mock Turtle shop sells items inspired by the singer and the adjoining café, named August in a nod to one of Taylor’s well known songs, has gone all out with dozens of culinary treats referencing the American singer. The business sits opposite the picturesque Beaumaris Castle, one of the town’s major attractions.

Yet it’s the shop and café which has surged in popularity in recent weeks after becoming a social media hotspot, WalesOnline reports. A TikTok creator shared a video of the shop’s interior and since then the business become the place to be for Taylor Swift fans from across the world.

“We had some people in from Germany the other day”, owner of the business, Lottie Summers, told WalesOnline. “I have tried to say people can go on the website to order things if they like but lots of people just want to visit and it’s just become a destination in itself."

Lotti, who was not a huge Taylor Swift fan until recently, originally started mixing up her business by integrating Harry Styles gifts into her shop, but when the Taylor Swift craze took off even more around a year ago, she saw an opportunity to embrace some memorabilia that would appeal to Swifties as well.
