The North's renowned 80s festival is back this year - book your tickets now

Rewind Festival is getting music lovers ready to open the time capsule back into the 80s - the era of feet-stomping anthems, new wave sound and electro-pop hits. Big hair, blue eyeliner and neon leg warmers will make a comeback for one weekend only, and tickets to the unmissable event are on sale now.

Returning to Rewind will be Erasure's Andy Bell - the band has sold over 25 million albums to date and achieved five consecutive number-ones on the UK album chart. Audiences can expect a hit-packed set list with songs such as “A Little Respect”, “Sometimes” and “Always", plus many more.

And for the first time in the festival's history, Squeeze will also be taking over the main stage. The group has had a series of show-stopping top-ten chart hits, with singles such as “Cool for Cats”, “Up the Junction” and “Labelled with Love" to name a few.

But the entertainment doesn't stop there. Other legendary artists making an appearance at Rewind Festival 2023 in Macclesfield include UB40, ABC, Marc Almond, Nick Heyward, Nik Kershaw, The Doctor, Go West, Big Country and Red Box.

Rewind Festival North 2023 will be taking place at Capesthorne Hall from Friday, August 4 until Sunday, August 6. The festival is delighted to have joined forces with Greatest Hits Radio for this year's event.

Jenny Powell, a regular presenter for Greatest Hits Radio said: "I had an absolute blast at Rewind last year and it was great to be able to share all the best bits of this incredible festival with Greatest Hits Radio listeners - I know they’ll be as excited as I am to find out which 80s superstars are hitting the stage for this year’s shows!

"I’ll be reuniting with my Greatest Hits Radio colleagues Pat Sharp and Martin Kemp. I can't wait to see you all
