The NGO "IT Education Development" supports the eco-project of the largest department in Europe

At the department "Information Systems and Technologies", Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, started an eco-project - creating a robot to clean polluted water.

The robot is created by the Department of IST students with the mentoring support of the faculty's scientific leadership.

The staff of the Department of IST - more than 80 teachers, led by the head of the department Oleksandr Rolik - will contribute expertise to creating a prototype of an ecological robot. The results are expected already this summer.

"The creation of practical conditions for the development of students' opportunities and skills for the benefit of our country is the main idea of the Organization "IT Education Development" , said the graduate of the FIOT of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, co-founder of the NGO "IT Education Development" Anatoliy Boyko.

The following steps are the processes of refinement, adjustment and improvement of the system.

"We are creating a system of support for student projects that will be able to develop into startups and even be patented together with the university, strengthening the scientific and innovative component and the number of useful developments for the country" , emphasized Serhiy Stirenko, professor of the FIOT of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.

Next, according to the plan, is initiating the startup direction and the communication of the project team of the NGO with manufacturers regarding serial production. At the same time, the public organization works to attract partners and the attention of relevant ministries of Ukraine.
