Rasmus Hojlund found himself back among the goals as Manchester United faced Luton Town in the Premier League.

In his first 14 appearances in the top flight, the Danish striker failed to find the back of the net despite bagging five goals in the Champions League group stages. However, his first on Boxing Day against Aston Villa has opened the floodgates.

Hojlund now has seven goals in his last six appearances in the Premier League and the records have been tumbling in the process. After scoring and assisting against both Tottenham Hotspur and Wolverhampton Wanderers, the Dane broke the record for the youngest player to do so for two games in a row.

Since 2007, Cristiano Ronaldo held the record but at the age of 20 years and 362 days, Hojlund made that record his. However, this was only the beginning for the forward.

On his 21st birthday against West Ham United, Hojlund became the youngest player to score in four successive Premier League matches for the Reds as he fired home the opener. At Kenilworth Road, further records fell.

Aged 21 years and 14 days, Rasmus Hojlund became the youngest player ever to score in six successive Premier League appearances. This surpassed Newcastle United's Joe Willock who managed the same achievement at the age of 21 years and 272 days.

He also wrote his name into the record books by scoring United's fastest-ever Premier League away goal at 37 seconds. His second in the 7th minute meant the clash with Luton was the quickest the Reds have led 2-0 away in the Premier League ever.
