The Moment Brandon Williams Realises It Was Christian Eriksen Who Rugby-Tackled Him Is Absolutely Incredible

Norwich full-back Brandon Williams was initially furious when a Brentford player hauled him to the ground, but he soon forgave the person involved after realising it was Christian Eriksen.

The hilarious incident took place in the first-half of Saturday's Premier League clash at Carrow Road.

Williams, who is currently on loan at the Canaries from Manchester United, managed to knock the ball past Eriksen with 39 minutes on the clock. The Danish international, however, didn't want him to break away.

As you can see in the footage, Brentford's number 21 brought down the full-back with an intentional tug of the shirt.

Williams falls down and grabs the shirt of Eriksen in anger. But after realising it was the former Spurs midfielder, the 21-year-old proceeded to embrace him with a big hub.

This is outstanding.

Last month, after completing a move back to the Premier League, Eriksen received a standing ovation as he made his first appearance since suffering a cardiac arrest eight months ago at Euro 2020.

In fact, the 30-year-old was handed a goosebump-worthy reception from both sets of supporters when he was introduced to Brentford vs. Newcastle United in the 52nd minute.

Newcastle players even showed their respect, applauding the Danish midfielder onto the pitch.
