The Manchester Legal Awards 2022 is open for entries - with a stylish live awards event set for June

Entries are now open for The Manchester Legal Awards, which will return with a stylish awards ceremony this June.

Organised by the Manchester Law Society, the awards recognise and reward legal talent from across the region and culminate in a black-tie gala dinner at The Midland Hotel on Thursday, June 9.

Fran Eccles-Bech, chief executive of the Manchester Law Society, said: “Although last year’s virtual event was successful, I cannot wait to see people in the flesh again at this year’s live event. After the challenges of the past two years, our community is ready to let its collective hair down and celebrate big time.

“The standard of entries is always exceptionally high and we encourage any firm, chambers, company or individual who has worked tirelessly over the qualifying period to get their entries in so their hard work can be recognised.

“Although the awards are free and simple to enter, to win or make the shortlist is truly prestigious because the judging process is so rigorous and robust. Our awards are the envy of legal communities across the UK and have rightly earned their position asthe highlight of the legal calendar.

“We have a limited number of sponsorship and advertising opportunities available. This year’s event will be bigger than ever so I urge anyone who wants to raise their profile among the region’s sizeable legal community to get in touch.”

The principal sponsor for this year's awards is the global legal recruitment company, Interlink.

All entries, with the exception of Lifetime Achievement, will be assessed against four criteria by a panel of judges from the legal and business community.
