The freebies and discounts A Level pupils can get at restaurants on results day

Students can bag some freebies and discounts as they celebrate - or commiserate - their A Level results on Thursday (August 15).

Following a stressful and tiring exam-filled May and June, thousands of sixth-form students across the country will be finding out if all their hard work has paid off. But whatever the results, there will still be the opportunity for pupils to enjoy a bargain.

This year, a number of top restaurants, bars and takeaways will be offering a range of discounts and free offers to coincide with results day, including Wagamama, Nando's and Bella Italia.
