The famous faces and music stars at the MTV EMA 2024 awards in Manchester - full list

Stars of film, music and TV are at Manchester's Co-op Live Arena for the MTV European Music Awards (EMAs).

The 30th edition of the annual music awards show is being held in Manchester with the red carpet rolled out to welcome dozens of famous faces.

Among them is pop star Rita Ora who is this year's host. Also spotted on the red carpet was Kick Ass star and perhaps the next James Bond Aaron Taylor Johnson, film director Taika Waititi, footballer Ruben Dias and Manchester royalty Bez Shaun Ryder.

The big celebration was set to feature performances from music stars including Teddy Swims, Shawn Mendez, RAYE, Pet Shop Boys, and Korean supergroup Le Sserafim.

Global superstar Taylor Swift led the way for nominations at this year's awards but did not attend the ceremony in person.

In the run up to Sunday's awards MTV hosted a number of events across the city as part of Music Week, which has amplified local and emerging musicians, and has also seen exhibitions take place at Aviva Studios on the EMAs history.
