The 70 conditions that the DWP will pay people £172 a week in PIP
Hundreds of thousands of people living with one of 70 neurological conditions could receive an extra £171.75 a week.
The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) provides Personal Independence Payment (PIP) to eligible claimants. The benefit is intended to give assistance to those who live with long-term physical or mental health conditions which impede their ability to perform certain everyday tasks.
According to recent figures, some 416,439 people are currently claiming PIP for neurological conditions. In order to be considered eligible for PIP, the DWP will list your main disability or medical condition during an assessment, the Liverpool Echo reports.
