Scotland face a playoff to stay in with the Nations League big boys thanks to their stunning win in Warsaw on Monday night - but could face a tough task to remain at the top table in the competition.

Steve Clarke will learn his rivals when the draw takes place in Nyon on Friday and after the conclusion of the final round of group games on Tuesday the picture became a little bit clearer. The League A/B play-off matches, played home and away over two legs, take place on March 20 and 23 next year with Scotland at Hampden for the second leg.

Scotland were unbeaten against the Austrians in World Cup qualifying a couple of years ago and that included an impressive win away from home.
