The 115 Premier League FFP charges and Joao Cancelo - the Man City moments missed by Netflix

Manchester City's documentary on Netlfix extensively covers their Treble-winning season.

There is behind-the-scenes footage of the journey from Wembley to Istanbul that includes plenty of action from the training ground, the dressing room and the pitch. There are also interviews with Pep Guardiola and his players through the season and looking back on it.

However, there are a few notable omissions that were significant events in the season and therefore would have been nice for viewers to be able to see. Here are some of those moments that don't get much or any airtime in the six-part documentary released this week.

There is time given to the happy flowers rant from Guardiola and to the emergence of Rico Lewis, but very little afford to Joao Cancelo's exit. The signing of Sergio Gomez is given more prominence in City's season than the decision to bomb Cancelo out for the sake of the squad.

Even if the club chose not to air any footage of arguments involving Cancelo - he is still a player who they are trying to secure a fee for after all - it was a shame that none of the discussions around the decision to let him go were shown. This was a seismic moment in the campaign and one that showed exactly what makes Guardiola the leader that he is and how his squad functions, yet it was glossed over in the story of the season.
