'Tesco grassed me up through wife's Clubcard app – I would've got away it it'
A man has been caught red-handed after his little supermarket secret was outed by technology to his wife.
Taking to Reddit, he shared a screenshot taken from his loved one's mobile phone where his eating and drinking habits had seemingly been outed. "Tesco grassed me up to my wife’s Clubcard app," the man moaned, alongside a snap of his 'most bought items in 2024'.
Those items? It appears he purchased a staggering 411 cinnamon swirls from the supermarket's in-store bakery over the 12-month period, as well as caffeine overload of 258 cans of sugar free Red Bull.

Regarding his cinnamon swirl intake, one Reddit user reacted in shock, asking: "That’s one and a bit a day for every day of the year - how often are you buying these?"
"Like two or three whenever I go to the shop before work," the man confessed. "I don’t even like them that much." And he added: "I sometimes leave the edges/crust though so it’s not as bad as it looks."
