Tennis star Emma Raducanu claims she is 'boring' for this lifestyle habit

Tennis star Emma Raducanu has called herself “boring” after revealing she does not drink alcohol.

The 19-year-old is currently in Guadalajara in Mexico for the Abierto Akron Zapopan.

She begins her campaign at the WTA 250 event against Australia’s Daria Saville at 1am GMT.

The 27-year-old has earned one WTA title during her career, triumphing at the Connecticut Open in 2017.

If Raducanu overcomes Saville, she will play either Lin Zhu or a qualifier in the second round. A rematch against Stephens could come next – the pair played in the first round of the Australian Open.

Sorribes Tormo or Keys could be waiting for Raducanu in the final, if she makes it that far.

Raducanu stunned the world of tennis when she became the first qualifier, male or female, to win a Grand Slam.

She stormed to victory at the US Open in September, defeating Leylah Fernandez in the final to make history.

Since her improbable win, Raducanu has struggled to progress to the latter stages of
