Taylor Swift poses for selfie with Prince William, George and Charlotte at sell-out Wembley show

A selfie has been shared of Prince William, Prince George and Princess Charlotte with pop superstar Taylor Swift at her sell-out Wembley show last night.

The Prince of Wales celebrated his 42nd birthday at the huge concert on Friday evening with his children. Kensington Palace posted a picture on X, formerly Twitter, of William, George and Charlotte with the Shake It Off star ahead of the concert.

The selfie was taken backstage. “Thank you @taylorswift13 for a great evening!”, the Palace’s social media post said.

Swift then posted a selfie of herself with William, the children and her boyfriend Travis Kelce. “Happy Bday M8! London shows are off to a splendid start,” her post read.

Zara Tindall and husband Mike Tindall were also at the concert. The Princess of Wales, who is undergoing treatment for cancer, stayed at home with Prince Louis, according to the PA news agency.

Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer also attended the gig at Wembley, which was the first night of the London leg of the American pop star's record-breaking Eras tour. Asked about his opinion of the performance by reporters on the campaign trail in south London, Sir Keir replied: “She was fantastic. Absolutely fantastic.”
