Tammy Abraham is one of many strikers to be linked with Arsenal over the last 12 months.
The Gunners were reportedly interested in the England international last summer before he eventually sealed a £36million move from Chelsea, joining Serie A side AS Roma in search of regular game time. And Abraham hasn't looked back since, netting 18 goals and providing a further four assists across all competitions.
That kind of form hasn't gone unnoticed either, with plenty of Europe's top clubs said to be keen on the 24-year-old, according to The Daily Mail. Now, he has taken to social media to tweet Gunners icon Ian Wright after the 58-year-old was impressed by Abraham's performance during Roma's 1-1 draw against Napoli on Sunday evening.
"Thanks big Unc," he said after Wright had previously tweeted the youngster's Twitter handle alongside some appreciative emojis.
It isn't the first time that Wright has hailed Abraham's performances this season. In fact, he previously claimed that the former Chelsea frontman would be the perfect fit for Mikel Arteta's side.
