Tagovailoa returns after being examined for concussion
Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has cleared concussion protocol and returned to Sunday's game following a hit from Buffalo Bills linebacker Matt Milano.
The third-year Dolphins signal caller collided with fellow Alabama Crimson Tide product Jaylen Waddle when Tagovailoa's helmet made contact with the turf. Tagovailoa came up stumbling and was helped to the sideline.
Backup quarterback Teddy Bridgwater took over under centre in Tagovailoa's absence.
Milano was assessed a 15-yard penalty on the play for roughing the passer.
Tagovailoa completed eight of his 10 passes for 76 yards and a touchdown prior to his departure.
