Sweden's Jesper Svensson holds slender lead at Czech Masters
Sweden's Jesper Svensson holds the lead by a single stroke heading into Sunday at the D+D REAL Czech Masters after a storm-disrupted third round.
Svensson had four birdies in his 68 to reach 16 under, though the highlight of the Swede's round may have been his par at the 16th where he drove into the trees, pitched out into the fairway then hit an astonishing three-wood 311 yards into the heart of the green.
France’s David Ravetto, the second-round leader after matching Johnston’s 63, also followed up with a 70 to lie second on 15 under.
Close behind is compatriot Adrian Saddier, who carded a third round 68 to jump to 14-under, sitting in a tie for third alongside a trio of English players Andrew Johnston, Ross Fisher and Brandon Robinson Thompson.
Irish duo Tom McKibbin and Gary Hurley failed to book their spot for the weekend, the former falling one stroke short of making the cut despite a second round 68 which lifted him to three-under par, while Hurley finished Friday on one-over par.
