Swansea City 1-5 Fulham: Ryan Manning red card proves costly as Cottagers run riot

Fulham fully capitalised on their numerical advantage as they thumped Swansea City 5-1 after Russell Martin's men had Ryan Manning sent off.

The hosts competed well until Irishman Manning was shown a straight red card for a challenge on Harry Wilson shortly before half-time at the Swansea.com Stadium.

The Cottagers punished the Swans in ruthless fashion as Aleksandar Mitrovic struck before Ben Cabango turned the ball into his own net.

Substitute Bobby Decordova-Reid added a third before Joel Piroe headed home his 16th goal of the campaign as the Swans scored from a set play for the first time this season.

Mitrovic's influence steadily grew as Fulham improved, and he could only fire wide - with the offside flag already raised - after being played through on goal.
