Swansea City 0-1 Norwich City: Early Teemu Pukki strike earns Canaries victory

Swansea City's five-match unbeaten home run was brought to an end as Teemu Pukki struck in the opening minute to earn Norwich City victory in south Wales.

The Swans made a number of mistakes early on and were emphatically punished by the Canaries as Pukki drilled into the net after just 58 seconds at the Swansea.com Stadium.

They significantly improved and saw Jamie Paterson, Kyle Naughton and Joel Piroe all have chances to clinch a point, but they were unable to breach the Norwich rear-guard as Swansea's winless run was extended to six games.

Russell Martin made three changes from the side that drew 0-0 with Huddersfield Town prior to the international break as Naughton, Luke Cundle and Paterson started in place of Harry Darling, Olivier Ntcham and Ollie Cooper.

It will have proven hugely frustrating for Martin and his coaching staff, and if left Swansea in the unwanted position of needing to extend their record of being the Championship side to gain the most points from losing positions this season.
