Steve Bruce has been linked with a reunion with Mohammed Diame at West Bromwich Albion.

According to TEAMtalk, the 35-year-old has been offered to the Baggies after Bruce’s appointment last week.

Under Bruce’s management, Diame helped Hull secure promotion to the Premier League in 2015/16.

But would he be a good signing for Albion now? And do they need him?

If West Brom are looking to bolster their options in the heart of midfield, a move for Mo Diame is surely a no-brainer as the 34-year-old knows exactly what it takes to succeed in the Championship.

During his spells at Hull City and Newcastle United, the midfielder helped both clubs achieve promotion to the Premier League by featuring regularly in the second-tier.

Having produced 20 direct goal contributions at this level during his career, Diame could add some more creativity to West Brom’s midfield.

By hitting the ground running at The Hawthorns, Diame will become an instant hit with the club’s supporters who will be desperate to see their side push on under the guidance of Steve Bruce.
