Former Birmingham City midfielder Jude Bellingham was linked with a £50million move to Manchester United and Chelsea prior to his departure for Borussia Dortmund, a transfer which Alan Brazil labelled as "bonkers" when the links emerged.

Bellingham, who was 16 at the time and said to be on around £100 a week, would have seen his wages increase to a staggering £100,000 a week if rumours were to be believed. Reacting to the news on talkSPORT, Brazil stated: "I’m sorry, I think football’s gone mental.

Bellingham went on to complete a transfer to Dortmund in 2020 for around £22.5million but has since seen his
