Super League team of the week as Hull FC, Wigan Warriors and Wakefield Trinity stars shine

It’s fair to say round six of Super League provided some big shocks. Toulouse Olympique pulled off the biggest surprise of the weekend as they edged out champions St Helens in the south of France.

Toulouse pulled off the shock of the year to beat champions St Helens in the south of France and Hankinson had a big role to play. He got himself over the line and claimed an assist from centre, too.

Rovers didn’t get the result in France but they ran Catalans close and scored twice. Kenny-Dowall was involved in both tries and went for 150m, too.

Burgess didn’t get himself on the scoresheet on Friday night but he made the break that ultimately helped Salford win the game in the final few minutes.

Wakefield picked up a huge result at the Halliwell Jones Stadium and their half-backs were key. Miller missed six tackles in the game but came up with four assists in total. The West Yorkshire side will be keen to build on their recent run of form and make their way up the league
