Super Bowl 2024 live: San Francisco 49ers vs Kansas City Chiefs - how to watch, score updates, will Taylor Swift be there and Usher half-time show

One of the biggest sports events of the year is taking place tonight (Feb 11) as fans around the world tune in to watch this year's Super Bowl. The San Francisco 49ers will be going head to head with the Kansas City Chiefs in a bid to add to their Lombardi Trophy collection.

In the US, the Super Bowl is the annual league championship game of the National Football League (NFL). Every year, sport fanatics and plenty of famous faces are spotted in attendance.

The likes of American football tight end Travis Kelce will be heading onto the football field shortly before midnight, where his popstar girlfriend Taylor Swift will be showing her support from the stands. Her celebrity pals have already been seen rocking up, including actress Blake Lively, rapper Ice Spice, and her mother Andrea Swift.

This year, Super Bowl LVIII will be held at the Allegiant Stadium - the home of the Las Vegas Raiders. This will be the first Super Bowl to be played in the state of Nevada.

For fans in the UK, the Super Bowl will kick off around 11.30pm on both ITV and Sky Sports. Free-to-air coverage is on ITV with the show beginning at 10:45pm. As for the highly-anticipated half time show, Usher is set to put on a stellar performance with hit singles like Burn, Yeah! and OMG. Last year saw Rhianna take to the stage, who used her 2023 half-time performance to debut her second pregnancy.
