Sunday sport: Some GAA county finals postponed due to Storm Ashley

Storm Ashley is causing disruption to a number of county finals due to take place today.

The Tyrone decider between Trillick and Errigal Ciaran has been postponed due to the weather.

The Longford football final replay – Abbeylara against Colmcille – has also been called off.

The Wicklow SFC final between Baltinglass and Tinahely in Aughrim and the Fermanagh football final, featuring Enniskillen Gaels and Erne Gaels Belleek, have also been postponed until next weekend.

However, some matches are going ahead. Kilmacud Crokes will be looking to make it four Dublin senior football championship titles in a row this afternoon.

They face a Cuala side aiming for their first ever Dublin senior title. The throw-in at Parnell Park was at 2.30pm.

Before that, in the Roscommon decider, Padraig Pearces face Roscommon Gaels at 2pm.

The Armagh final is an all Lurgan affair with Clann Éireann facing Clan na Gael in the Athletic Grounds at 4.15pm.

The Cork Senior Hurling Championship final throws-in at 4.15pm with Imokilly taking on Sarsfields at SuperValu Pairc Ui Chaoimh.

The top two are both in action in this afternoon's Premier League fixtures.

The main game of the day sees current leaders Liverpool host Chelsea. Kick-off at Anfield is at 4.30pm.

Ireland's Caoimhín Kelleher is set to start in goals for the hosts as Alisson recovers from injury.

Before that Pep Guardiola's five-in-a-row chasing Manchester City make the trip to face winless Wolves at Molineux.

Kick-off in that game is at 2pm.

The women's FAI Cup Final between Athlone Town and Shelbourne is down for decision this afternoon.

Athlone are looking to retain the title they won 12 months ago and complete a historic double.

Kick-off is at 3pm at Tallaght Stadium.
