Sunday sport: Dublin Derby, Ireland secure second Paralympics medal

It is Day 4 of the Paralympic Games in Paris, and Team Ireland have guaranteed themselves a second medal of the games.

Katie-George Dunlevy and her pilot Eve McChrystal have secured themselves either gold or silver.

That is after qualifying second behind Team GB in the B 3000-metre individual pursuit.

They will return for the final at 1.40pm.

Elsewhere in the velodrome, Martin Gordon and his pilot Eoin Mullen have qualified for the final of the B 1,000-metre Time Trial.

They will be back at 12.50pm for the final.

On the water, Katie O’Brien and Tiarnán O’Donnell finished second in their B final of the PR2 Mixed Double Sculls this morning.
