Sunday GAA: Cork and Limerick progress to Munster Senior Hurling final

Cork and Limerick will contest next month's Munster Senior Hurling final.

The holders Cork picked up their first win over Clare since 2021, with a 1-30 to 1-14 victory at Páirc Uí Chaoimh.

League champions Limerick stormed into the provincial decider by hammering last year's All-Ireland winners Tipperary by 5-27 to 25 points.

Clare will go through to the All-Ireland quarter-finals, where they will face the beaten Leinster finalists.

Kilkenny were knocked out of the Leinster Senior Hurling Championship earlier on Sunday.

Donal Burke's second-half goal from a penalty helped Dublin overcome the defending champions by 1-26 to 22 points at Parnell Park.

The defeat ends Kilkenny's season, while Dublin will advance to a provincial final against Galway.

Dublin boss Niall Ó Ceallacháin said it was an important victory for his team.

Galway recovered from going 13 points behind to beat Wexford by 2-31 to 3-20 at Wexford Park.

Offaly are into the All-Ireland quarter-finals, Brian Duignan hit the net as they won by 1-29 to 15 points at Kildare.
