Stone Cold Steve Austin took serious bump at WrestleMania 38 despite neck issues

Stone Cold Steve Austin came out of retirement to feature at the highly anticipated WrestleMania 38 on Saturday night, and boy did he deliver, in more ways than one. 

The six-time WWE champion returned to the ring after 19 years to challenge Kevin Owens in a No Holds Barred match in Arlington, Texas, his hometown. 

Austin was originally a guest on the KO Show until he was challenged by the host to a full on match. Something the fans in attendance and the millions watching at home absolutely loved.

The atmosphere was electric as Stone Cold had the entire backing of the crowd in his hometown. 

However, it wasn’t all plain sailing, as The Texas Rattlesnake received a suplex on the exposed concrete outside of the ring. 

The 57-year old, who had previous neck and back issues, was flung backwards, but took the bump like the champion he is.
