Still no date confirmed for Bok lock Snyman's return to action
Springbok RG Snyman won't be returning to action at the start of the United Rugby Championship seasons, his club Munster has confirmed.
Snyman has been out of action for a lengthy period after he injured his knee in his first ever outing for the club and then again last October.
In July, Munster announced that Snyman was part of the group of players undertaking pre-season training.
In a statement on the club website, however, Munster said Snyman wouldn't be ready for the start of the season in September.
"As RG Snyman's reintegration to team training continues after a lengthy lay-off, the lock is not available for the opening rounds of the season," Munster confirmed.
Snyman was a regular starter at lock for the Springboks before his injury and has played 23 times in green and gold.
