Stephen Warnock goes viral after saying Klopp's Liverpool played 'Gangnam Style' football on TV

Marcelo Bielsa lost his job this weekend after Leeds United fell to another disappointing result on Saturday afternoon.

Days after losing 6-0 to Liverpool, they were demolished 4-0 by Tottenham Hotspur at Elland Road.

That result left Leeds winless in six games, a run that saw them fall to 16th and just two points above the relegation zone.

Thus, Bielsa lost his job and he has since been replaced by American Jesse Marsch.

Former Leeds defender Stephen Warnock appeared on Match of the Day 2 on Sunday evening where he discussed Bielsa’s demise.

He argued that Bielsa was stubborn with his tactics and refused to change them despite a downturn in results.

“Everyone says, the definition of insanity is doing the same over and over again and getting the same results – and that’s what it seems to be,” Warnock began, per the Mirror.

“You’ve got to change your ways. You’ve got to adapt.”

Warnock then used the example of Jurgen Klopp. Klopp came to the Premier League using a huge intensity style of football named ‘Gegenpressing.’

That was a term that Warnock attempted to refer to. However, he had a bit of a shocker as he accidentally said Klopp’s Liverpool initially played ‘Gangnam Style.’

“When Jurgen Klopp came into the Premier League they (Liverpool) played Gangnam Style football, Gangnam Style press…”

‘Gangnam Style’ is of course a song which was released by South Korean singer Psy in 2012.

The song featured Psy doing a strange dance which became popular all over the world.
