Sporting 2-0 Spurs: Thierry Henry's funny commentary on second goal

Tottenham Hotspur tasted defeat for the first time this season when they travelled to play Sporting Lisbon on Tuesday.

Antonio Conte’s side went into the Champions League fixture on the back of a 2-0 win over Marseille in their opening group stage match, summer signing Richarlison netting both goals.

But a lacklustre Spurs were made to pay in the Portuguese capital as Sporting claimed a precious victory at the José Alvalade Stadium thanks to two (yes, TWO!) stoppage-time goals.

The first came courtesy of Paulinho’s head from a marvellous corner kick by Pedro Goncalves, while the second was a sublime solo effort by Arthur Gomes.

Gomes cut in from the left, sent Emerson Royal all the way back to Barcelona with an effortless nutmeg and then proceeded to fire the ball through the legs of Hugo Lloris and into the back of the net.

It was a world-class goal to cap off a memorable evening for Sporting…
