"I Made Mistakes...": Thibaut Courtois Openly Clears Air On Refusing To Play For Belgium

Belgium goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois says he explained his decision to refuse to play for the national team under former coach Domenico Tedesco "in front of the squad" after his return to the fold. The Real Madrid number one had a public falling out with Tedesco after not being named captain for a game against Austria in June 2023, saying he felt "insulted". But the 32-year-old is set to return on Thursday in a Nations League relegation play-off against Ukraine after being named in new coach Rudi Garcia's first squad. "When I arrived (at the training centre), it was good to be able to speak in front of the players because a lot of false things have been said," Courtois told reporters on Tuesday.

IPL 2025: Sunrisers Hyderabad SWOT Analysis And Strongest Playing XI

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) may have finished runners-up in the 2024 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), but they lit up the tournament with some of the most sensational power-hitting ever seen in T20 cricket. In IPL 2025, that power-hitting department has only been bolstered, making SRH one of the favourites to make the playoffs, if not go all the way. The Sunrisers wrote a chapter in the evolution of T20 batting in 2024, and could well set more mind-boggling records in 2025.

IOC Board Approves Boxing For Inclusion In 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games

Boxing is set to be included in the programme for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics after the International Olympic Committee's (IOC) executive board approved its inclusion ahead of its 144th session starting Tuesday. The decision follows the IOC's granting of provisional recognition to World Boxing last month, effectively sidelining the International Boxing Association (IBA) and transferring authority to the new governing body. The March 18-21 IOC Session, which will also elect a new president to succeed Thomas Bach, is expected to ratify the executive board's decision for inclusion of boxing in the 2028 LA Games roster.
