Legendary Pakistan cricket team fast bowler Wasim Akram blasted the infrastructure of the country's cricket stadiums and said that the authorities have been unsuccessful in maintaining the three stadiums on the northern side of the country. During a discussion on A Sports, Akram was asked by a fan about Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) not investing in a new stadium in northern Pakistan with references to India's Dharamsala Stadium and New Zealand's Queenstown Stadium. The Mumbai cricket team won a record-extending 42nd Ranji Trophy on Thursday. With a 169-run win over Vidarbha, the Ajinkya Rahane-led lifted the trophy. The fate of the final -- Mumbai's 48th in the 90 years of the tournament's history -- at the iconic Wankhede Stadium was sealed when the hosts set a 538-run target for the visiting team. Vidarbha captain Akshay Wadkar (102) and the unheralded Harsh Dubey (65) kept Mumbai at bay for the entire first session on the last day after Vidarbha resumed on 248 for five, needing another 290 runs to win.

"No Improvement After All These Years": R Ashwin's Self-Assessment Is Viral. Here's The Reason

R Ashwin had an eventful India vs England Test series. The veteran spinner played his 100th Test and even claimed his 500th wicket in the format.
