"Haven't Learnt Our Lesson": Pakistan Captain's Scathing Verdict After Bangladesh Loss

Pakistan cricket team captain Shan Masood was left extremely disappointed as his side slumped to a crushing 0-2 Test series loss against Bangladesh in Rawalpindi on Tuesday. In the first Test, Pakistan's decision to declare their first innings at 448/6 backfired completely as Bangladesh scored a mammoth 565 and then produced a brilliant bowling performance to win the game by 10 wickets. Things did not improve in the second Test as Bangladesh once again excelled with both bat and ball to clinch the match by six wickets. Following the match, Masood said that Pakistan have not learnt their lessons from the past losses and added that they have continuously failed to get over the line in Test matches.

Bangladesh Humiliate Hosts Pakistan With 2-0 Test Series Sweep, Register Historic First

The Bangladesh cricket team continued their fairytale run in Pakistan, securing their second successive Test match win to wrap up the series 2-0. It's the first time that Bangladesh went on to complete a clean sweep against an Asian side in their own home, inflicting a defeat that Pakistan and the entire cricketing spectrum would remember for years to come. Bangladesh haven't been the strongest of teams in Test cricket away from home, with their only sweep in the longest format of the game coming against West Indies in 2009 (in a series of 2 or more Tests).

Indian Olympic Badminton Great To Retire Due To Arthritis? Player Says, "Cartilage Has Gone..."

Ace Indian shuttler and former Olympic bronze-medallist Saina Nehwal has revealed that she is battling arthritis and will have to decide on her future in badminton by the end of this year as the ailment has made it impossible for her to train the usual hours. The 34-year-old former world No.1, who was the first Indian shuttler to win an Olympic medal with her bronze in London 2012, participated in three editions of the Games before being hampered by injuries. The 2010 and 2018 Commonwealth Games gold-medallist said she can no longer overlook the fact that her career is in its final leg.

Pakistan Legends Tear Into Team After Embarrassing 0-2 Defeat Against Bangladesh

Pakistan cricket reached its lowest ebb on Tuesday while nosediving to a six-wicket defeat against Bangladesh in the second Test here, and the stalwarts termed the 0-2 series defeat as “hurting.” It was Pakistan's sixth defeat in their last 10 Tests at home and this was also the first time Bangladesh have beaten their neighbours in a Test and series. “It is hurting that our cricket has come to this stage. Bangladesh deserve credit for their disciplined performances. But the way our batting has collapsed in this series is a bad sign,” former Test captain Javed Miandad said.
