"Bit Like Mixed Pakodas": Sunil Gavaskar's Unique Analysis Of Riyan Parag's Bowling

Former India captain Sunil Gavaskar made a unique assessment of the bowling of Rajasthan Royals' stand-in captain Riyan Parag. It happened after Parag claimed the wicket of Kolkata Knight Riders skipper Ajinkya Rahane during the IPL 2025 match between the sides on Sunday. On the fourth ball of the 13th over, Parag bowled with a round-arm release, undercutting the off spin. As a result the ball did not bounce much and slid after pitching. Rahane tried to play a sweep shot and got a top edge on it which was caught by RR wicketkeeper Dhruv Jurel.

American Swimmer Gretchen Walsh Sets 100m Butterfly World Record

American Gretchen Walsh broke her own 100m butterfly world record on Saturday, clocking 55.09sec in the heats at the Tyr Pro Swim Series meeting in Orlando, Florida. Walsh had set the previous world record of 55.18sec at the US Olympic trials in Indianapolis on June 15 last year, although she settled for silver in the event at the Paris Olympics behind teammate Torri Huske. Walsh's record came a day after the two-time Olympic relay gold medallist joined Sweden's Sarah Sjostrom as the only women to break 25 seconds for the 50m butterfly, clocking 24.93 to win the final.

Rishabh Pant Labelled 'Stubborn', Sent Clear 'It's Not Working' Message

Bought for a whopping fee of INR 27 crore in the Indian Premier League (IPL) mega auction, Rishabh Pant has unarguably been the biggest flop of the season so far. With an average of just over 12, Pant has tried his hand at different roles in the batting order but failed to deliver in any. As the Lucknow Super Giants' top three incurred a rare failure against Punjab Kings on Sunday, the spotlight fell on Pant to resurrect the team's chase of 237 runs. But the manner of his dismissal once again reflected the wayward campaign he has had so far.

'Sarcastic' Hamilton shows frustration as Ferrari struggle again

Lewis Hamilton showed his frustration with his Ferrari team's tactics at the Miami Grand Prix on Sunday as the Scuderia once again struggled to compete. Hamilton finished eighth with team-mate Charles Leclerc seventh as Ferarri remain with just one podium finish so far this season -- Leclerc's third place in Jeddah. A fired-up Hamilton fired off several barbed comments over the team radio after asking for Leclerc to allow him to pass. The Briton had a spell in the race when he appeared to be driving quicker than Leclerc and clearly felt he had a better chance of closing ground on Mercedes' Kimi Antonelli.

Kylian Mbappe Maintains Real Madrid La Liga Dream In Celta Thriller

Kylian Mbappe struck twice as Real Madrid held off Celta Vigo with a thrilling 3-2 win to stay within sight of La Liga leaders Barcelona on Sunday. After the Catalans scraped a comeback win at Valladolid on Saturday, Madrid survived a late Celta fightback to maintain the four-point gap ahead of next Sunday's Clasico. Defending champions Madrid, second, took a three-goal lead but were left clinging on at the Santiago Bernabeu against a Celta side seventh and hoping to qualify for European football next season.
