Determined to achieve its objective of becoming the first race in Nigeria to field an elite men’s cadre that will return a sub 2:10 minutes, the Abuja International Marathon (AIM) has confirmed the signing of four gold labelled runners, two men and two women.
The arrival of two United States-based Nigerian junior athletes, triple jumper Okolosi Damilare and 400 metres runner, James Onwuka, has boosted the nation’s chances of winning medals in the ongoing World U-20 Athletics Championship in Cali, Colombia.
