Yann Ehrlacher put in a late flying lap to top the second free practice session at WTCR Race of Portugal as the WTCR – FIA World Touring Car Cup drivers made their final preparations for qualifying on the Vila Real street track. King of WTCR Ehrlacher stormed to a time of 1m59.300s around the 4.790-kilometre circuit to demote Goodyear #Followtheleader Mikel Azcona to second.
Marianne Vos gets revenge on Stage 3 at Giro Donne with 31st win, Elisa Balsamo keeps pink
Marianne Vos (Jumbo-Visma) avenged her defeat on Friday by taking a fine sprint victory on Stage 3 at the Giro Donne. The Dutchwoman was pipped on the line on Stage 2 by Elisa Balsamo (Trek-Segafredo) after launching her sprint early, but she backed herself from distance again a day later and was rewarded with her 31st stage win at the race.

SERT’s Saulnier underlines importance of EWC-counting Suzuka 8 Hours
The upcoming 43rd Coca-Cola Suzuka 8 Hours is “something very special”, according to Damien Saulnier, Team Manager of FIM Endurance World Championship-winning Yoshimura SERT Motul. Back on the FIM EWC calendar for the first time since 2019, the Japanese round of the series is hugely popular and significant in equal measure and the Suzuki-powered team is expected to be among the main contenders for overall victory. “I am delighted that the Suzuka 8H is back on the EWC calendar, and the whole team is very excited to be racing in Japan once again,” said Saulnier.
